Newtons Laws in physics
Newton's 1st Law: the Law of Inertia
An object at rest
tends to stay at rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
or,
An object at rest
will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon
by an unbalanced force.
Newton's 2nd Law: the Law of
Proportionality
The acceleration of
an object is directly proportional to the net force and inversely proportional
to its mass.
Definitions:
Force: a push or a
pull on an object
Mass: a measure of
the amount of material in an object; a quantitative measure of inertia
Acceleration: the rate of change of velocity
with time
Newton's 3rd Law:the Law of Interaction
For every action
there is an equal and opposite reaction. ...
